<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to maintenance of living environment by reducing fuel consumptions, noises, exhaust gases in a combine work, as well as improve efficiency of grain discharge work. <P>SOLUTION: A harvester-thresher combine is provided with a generator (101) for carrying out power generation by a driving force of an engine (68), a generator motor (207) for driving to elevate a harvesting apparatus (8) by an electric power of the generator (101), as well as for carrying out power generation by a potential energy of a harvesting apparatus (8) after the elevation, a battery (109) for accumulating generated electric power of the generator motor (207), and an electric motor (83) for driving a grain discharge apparatus (5a) by an electric power of the battery (109), and further a control device (111) for decelerating the engine (68) to idling or stopping status when the electric motor (83) is activated is provided.
