<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress refrigerant backflow without installing an additional check valve etc. and increase heat transport amount. <P>SOLUTION: This evaporator includes: a refrigerant supply portion 13 storing refrigerant liquid made to flow in from a liquid pipe 4 inside and supplying the refrigerant liquid; a wick 14 moving the refrigerant liquid by capillary force; a heat transfer fin 12B inclined so that the evaporation pipe 2 side becomes higher than the liquid pipe 4 side; and a heat transfer portion 12 including the heat transfer fin 12B on the inner wall face, connected to a heating element 11 on the outer wall face so as to enable heat transfer, transferring the heat received from the heating element 11 to the wick 14 connected to the heat transfer fin 12B, taking away heat from the heating element 11 by evaporative latent heat of the refrigerant liquid, and making refrigerant steam flow out to an evaporation pipe 2. In the refrigerant supply portion 13, a refrigerant supply portion inlet 13A is provided in the vicinity of the wick 14 by penetrating the tip of the liquid pipe 4 to inside of the storage region of the refrigerant liquid, and the wick 14 is extended from a peripheral portion of a contact face with the heat transfer fin 12B along the inner wall face of the refrigerant supply portion 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
