<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modular handle for cost-cutting in design, manufacture, verification and maintenance of digital X-ray detectors. <P>SOLUTION: The modular handle 106, which is freely detachable/removable with respect to a case 102 of the detector, includes (one or more) components which can produce specific effects, such as data communication with external devices and/or power adjustment on most of portable digital X-ray detectors, and further, the case 102 of the detector includes a pixel array panel 104 and (one or more) components that produce effects common to the pixel array panel 104.
