PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device for preventing video irregularity generated by an attaching error during assembling the device. SOLUTION: In a pixel value correcting method of the liquid crystal display device, the pixel value according to the error value related to the relative position displacement between a liquid crystal panel and a backlight is corrected. The pixel value correcting method includes an error value detecting process (Step S4) for detecting the error value according to a user operation, a calculating process (Step S5) for specifying a light source corresponding to each pixel based on the error value detected by the error value detecting process and calculating the light emission quantity required by the light source from the pixel value of the corresponding pixel for each light source, and a correcting process (Step S7) for specifying the pixel position of each pixel based on the error value detected by the error value detecting process and correcting the pixel value of each pixel at the specified pixel position so as to compensate a part for excess and shortage of light quantity caused by the optical distribution of the light source.
