PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facility retrieval method displaying retrieval results preferentially in accordance with as a user's demands. SOLUTION: When facility retrieval results including a plurality of facilities are obtained through retrieval of a telephone number retrieval means 102, the facility retrieval results are output to a preferential display determination means 104 before output to a retrieval result display means 103. The preferential display determination means 104 determines the priority order of the facility retrieval results for preferential display according to predetermined conditions. The retrieval result display means 103 causes a display unit 4 to display the facility retrieval results according to the priority order determined by the preferential display determination means 104 through a mark/retrieval result generation unit 14. When a retrieval condition input determination means 101 determines that the high-order digits of a retrieval condition input result coincide with a country code, a retrieval condition input digit number determination means 105 counts the total number of digits of a number (telephone number) input by a user through an operation unit 3, and determines whether or not the telephone number includes the country code in accordance with the number of the remaining digits.
