PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily switch over a normal screen and an enlarged screen in a relatively simple manner. SOLUTION: A mobile terminal includes: a first housing having a key operation part; and a second housing having a rectangle display and which is coupled with the first housing by a rotation mechanism which allows the display to switch over the display on a vertically long screen and the display on a horizontally long screen. In the mobile terminal, when the second housing is rotated by 90 degrees by the rotation mechanism to switch the display on the horizontally long screen in a state that an image data 201a is displayed on the vertically long screen and the key input operation is possible, a constant region in a vertical direction of the image data displayed on the vertically long screen is cut and enlarged to a size of (the vertical width of the vertically long screen)/(the horizontal width of the vertically long screen), and the enlarged image data 201b is displayed on the horizontally long screen to enable input operation from the key operation part.
