PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding machine having a tailstock which can improve transportation properties and reduce production costs. SOLUTION: The tailstock 4 comprises a front rectangular part 41 in which four beams are integrally connected in an approximately square shape and a rear rectangular part 42 in which four beams are integrally connected in an approximately square shape, and is formed by integrally connecting the four corners of them by a cylindrical part 42. By thinly connecting the upper and lower parts of the tailstock 4 by a load transmission bottom part 46, stress when mold clamping force is generated is dispersed to prevent deflection in the horizontal direction of the tailstock 4. The tailstock 4 has many thin-walled places as compared with a conventional shape so that the amount of a material to be used for forming it can be suppressed to reduce its weight and cost.
