Subject: mechanism for rotary energy storage. Constitution: the automatic gear box 1 connected to the rotary energy source 2 via the clutch 3 and connected, in the sequel, to a gear transmitting the movement to the gear 4 whereto there is connectedthe external extremity 5, and the switch 6 connected to the clutch 3 for stopping the continuity of the spiral winding. At the gearÆs rotation 4 the spiral spring is contracted. The internal extremity of the spring 7 is connected to the shaft 8 encountered at the centre and being able to rotate throughout winding (contraction of the spring). A revs controlling mechanism 9 is interposed to select the thus controlled speed at will (e.g. use in power-generation pair 10, compressed-air production 11, direct rotary movement transmission to whatever engine 12 or craft propeller (fig.1,2,3). |
