<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain downsizing, light-weight, and cost reduction, and improve assembly accuracy of an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: The headlamp is provided with a reflector 3 having reflecting surfaces 2U, 2D consisting of free curved face of parabolic system and semiconductor type light sources 5U, 5D having a light-emitting chip 4 of planar rectangular shape. The reflecting surfaces 2U, 2D are constructed of a first reflecting surface to form a high luminous intensity belt, a second reflecting surface to form a medium luminous intensity belt, and a third reflecting surface to form a low luminous intensity belt. As a result, this headlamp device can attain downsizing, light-weight, and cost reduction and, further, assembly accuracy of the optical element can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
