ILLUMINATING DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device wherein light guide members are easy to replace with respect to holding members and the light quantity of illumination light from the light outgoing surface of the light guide members to a subject is increased, and to provide an image reading device and an image forming device.

SOLUTION: The illuminating device 210 provided in the image reading device 100 and the image forming device D includes: light source parts 211a', 211b', 211a" and 211b"; the light guide members 213a and 213b guiding light from the light source parts to illuminate the subject G from the light outgoing surface M having long-length along a longitudinal direction Y; and the holding members 216a and 216b holding the light guide members. The holding members include: holding parts 2161a and 2161b holding the light guide members detachably; and inclined parts 2162a and 2162b which is extended from the light outgoing surface M side distal end of the holding parts so as to reflect light outgoing from the light outgoing surface M and to obliquely open with the increase of the distances from the light guide members.
