<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller type one-way clutch having improved reliability by constructing so as to discharge dust accumulated in the clutch to the outside. <P>SOLUTION: The one-way clutch includes an outer ring 1 having a plurality of pockets 4 formed in the outer periphery with cam faces 12, an inner ring arranged concentrically with the outer ring 1, rollers 3 arranged in the pockets 4 for engaging with the cam faces 12 to transmit torque between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring, a cage 6 having a cylindrical porion and a flange extending from the cylindrical part in the direction of the outer diameter, and turnable relative to the outer ring 1, the cylindrical part having windows 18 each having a circumferential window width smaller than the diameter of the roller 3 for holding the rollers 3, and springs 5 arranged in the pockets 4 between the outer ring 1 and each roller 3 for biasing the rollers 3 in the direction of engaging with the cam faces 12.
