PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic imaging system with improved time delay correction function. SOLUTION: The invention provides a method (132) for clutter filter process. The method includes; a process (134) to extract a blood component from an element signal generated by an element to obtain a filter processed element signal; a process (136) to extract a blood component from a beam sum signal to obtain a filter processed beam sum signal; a process (138) to calculate the time delay estimate between the filter processed element signal and filter processed beam sum signal, or between the filter processed element signal and beam sum signal, or between the element signal and filter processed beam sum signal; and a process (140) to apply the time delay estimate and correct the time delay for formation of the transmission and reception beam related to the element.
