PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical magnetic field sensor in which the light intensity to be detected has polarization independence not depending on changes in a polarization state of incident light even when a polarization state of incident light is a state of ellipsoidal light and which is capable of suppressing insertion loss of incident light. SOLUTION: The optical magnetic field sensor includes: an optical guided wave path; a polarization separation element; a lens; a non-reciprocal polarization face rotary element; and a reflector. The optical guided wave path is made into a single core and a rotational angle of the polarization face rotary element is set at an angle of 90-360 degrees. After the incident light from the optical guided wave path is separated into two polarization components by the polarization separation element, the incident light is converged by the lens and each polarization face is rotated by the polarization face rotary element to reflect the light symmetrically with respect to one point on a reflection surface of the reflector. After the polarization face is rotated by the polarization face rotary element again, the light is synthesized by the polarization separation element to be made incident into the optical guided wave path, thus shifting each of the two polarization components as abnormal light beam at the polarization separation element.
