<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-mode mobile terminal device which attains reduction in a circuit scale. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dual-mode mobile terminal device includes: modulators 19 and 10 for performing modulation for a WCDMA communication system and modulation for a GSM communication system onto first and second analog signals outputted from DACs 20 and 11; amplifiers 18 and 35 receiving RF signals modulated by the modulators 19 and 10; a power amplifier 14 for receiving an output RF signal from a filter 15, that inputs an output RF signal of the amplifier 18; a power amplifier module 29 for receiving an output RF signal of the amplifier 35; an APC detection circuit 25 for detecting a first detection signal from the output of the power amplifier 14 and detecting a second detecting signal from the output of the power amplifier module 29; and an ADC 22 for performing AD conversion onto the first and second detecting signals and outputting the signals to a digital processor 31. A control section CPU of the digital processor 31 controls gains of the amplifiers 18 and 35, according to thefirst and second transmission AGC signals, in such a way that the first and second detecting signals become a fixed value.
