<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sintering ignition furnace and a method of manufacturing sintered ore significantly shortening an installation work period, in the ignition furnace composed of a burner for igniting sintered materials, and at least a ceiling section and a sidewall section. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The sintering ignition furnace 1 is composed of the burner 10 for igniting the sintered materials, and a furnace wall 40 having at least the ceiling section 20 and the sidewall section 30, and the ceiling section and the sidewall section are composed of members independent from each other. As the ceiling section and the sidewall section are composed of the independent members, each component member can be prepared in advance not at an installation site, and the work period can be significantly shortened.
