PURPOSE: A pipe closing device is provided to improve airtightness by expanding a sealing unit, and to enable a worker to rapidly and easily perform working because a winding work of a sealing tape is not required. CONSTITUTION: A pipe closing device comprises a fastening unit(20), a pressing unit(30), a sealing unit(40), and a seal retaining unit(50). The fastening unit is fastened to a male screw(11) formed on the outer end of a pipe(10). One side of the pressing unit is inserted into the pipe, the other side is exposed to outside through a through hole of the fastening unit. The sealing unit is reduced by the pressing unit, and is adhered to the inner surface of the pipe. The seal retaining unit temporarily maintains a sealed state of the sealing unit.
