<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a knock type writing instrument wherein the writing end of the writing body is kept projecting out of the end opening of the shaft tube by pressing the knocker, the knocker being automatically reversed into its original position by a slight impact when the knock type writing instrument is placed on the desk, and then the writing end of the writing body being deeply inserted into the end opening of the shaft tube. <P>SOLUTION: The knocker 5 is connected to a sliding member 10 whose leading end is an inclined wall surface 11 and which has a holder pressing body 13 mounted thereon. A ball 21 is stored in the ball storage chamber 20 formed by the sliding member 10 and the front wall member 15 provided ahead of the sliding member 10. A holder member 25 having a ball holding rod 27 is provided on the rear end of the writing body 24. The writing end 33 of the writing body 24 is kept projecting out of the end opening 12 of the tip 4 by the ball holding rod 27 holding the ball 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
