<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blow-by gas reduction apparatus of an internal combustion engine capable of decreasing frequency of an erroneous learning on an opening degree of a ventilation control valve. <P>SOLUTION: The blow-by gas reduction apparatus 50 supplies blow-by gas from an engine body 20 to an intake passage 49 to thereby ventilate the engine body 20 and adjusts an amount of the blow-by gas supplied to the intake passage 49 using a PCV valve 54. As a learning control, the apparatus 50 drives the PCV valve 54 toward a reference position, and, if the apparatus 50 determines that the drive position of the PCV valve 54 is in the reference position, the apparatus 50 learns an opening degree of the PCV valve 54. The apparatus 50 further determines whether or not the PCV valve 54 is in a low temperature condition. If the apparatus 50 determines that the PCV valve 54 is in the low temperature condition, the apparatus 50 does not execute the learning control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
