PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter wherein the influence of mixed noise is reduced.

SOLUTION: In the power converter for vehicles, a noise rejection capacitor is incorporated in a capacitor module having a smoothing capacitor element. The noise rejection capacitor is electrically connected to the input side power supply terminal of the capacitor module in the position where the distance between the connecting location of the noise rejection capacitor and the input side power supply terminal is shorter than the distance between the connecting location of the noise rejection capacitor and the output side power supply terminal of the capacitor module.
