<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive of a simple configuration in which only one AD converter is required and a current detecting circuit of each motor includes only one current detection resistor between a driver and a ground. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive includes a plurality of drivers 20A and 20B which supply a current to the respective coils of a plurality of motors 10A and 10B, a plurality of PWM circuits 30A and 30B which adjust the amount of current supplied to the coils by making the drivers conductive only during a predetermined period in a PWM cycle, current detecting resistors 40A and 40B provided between the drivers 20A and 20B and a ground potential GND, a selector 50 for selecting one of the coil current signals A and B detected by the current detecting resistors 40A and 40B, an AD converter 60 for converting a coil current signal selected by the selector 50 to a digital value, and a processor 70 for controlling the operations of PWM circuits 30, the selector 50, and the AD converter 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
