<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil for high frequency induction heating which makes joint work easy while assuring a joint strength of components of the coil. <P>SOLUTION: The coil 1 includes a plurality of gutter-like members 7 and lids 8 covering the opening portions of the gutter-like members 7, wherein an electron beam 9 is irradiated while being scanned to the joint positions of the adjacent gutter-like members 7 and 7, and the engaging positions of the lids 8 to the gutter-like members 7, and the joint positions are welded by this irradiation. High strength can be obtained in the welded portions by integrating the gutter-like members 7 and the lids 8. Moreover, the work of welding by the electron beam 9 does not require operator's skill since blazing materials are not used and the work is simple.
