<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a corrosion fatigue damage, which simply reproduces the corrosion fatigue damage occurring in various members such as the inner cooling hole of a die and the like, by using a test strip. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for evaluating the corrosion fatigue damage, a load is repeatedly applied to a surface of the test strip having a corrosion medium introduced in a space formed inside the test strip, and a surface and/or a cross section of the inside space of the test strip is observed after applying the load. Preferably, in the method for evaluating the corrosion fatigue damage, a space simulating the inner cooling hole of the die is formed in a material strip made of a die material, and the test strip is prepared so as to have the space to which the corrosion medium simulating a cooling medium of the die is introduced, and the load is repeatedly applied to the surface of the test strip, and the surface and/or the cross section of the space in the test strip is observed after applying the load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
