<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attaching device enabling both drilling of a workpiece and thermal caulking of a component set to the workpiece to be performed by a single device without moving the workpiece. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this attaching device 10, after a fixed hole 18 is formed in the workpiece W by a drilling device 16 having a punch 12 and a die 14, the pin part 20 of the part P is inserted into the fixed hole 18, and the end of the pin part 20 projecting from the rear side of the workpiece W is caulked by a thermal caulking device 22, and the part P can be attached to the predetermined position of the workpiece W. The die 14 and the thermal caulking device 22 are attached to a same base plate 24, and the die 14 and the thermal caulking device 22 can be simultaneously moved horizontally by moving the base plate 24 horizontally.
