PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall faucet and a method of mounting the wall faucet superior in maintainability enabling faucet replacement work to be performed without removing a mirror and a cabinet. SOLUTION: The wall faucet 11 includes a water discharge part 16 mounted to a vertical wall part 14 disposed with a clearance between itself and an indoor wall surface W located on the back face side of a washing/dressing stand, and having a water discharge port 16a for discharging water supplied through a hose 17 connected to a water supply source; a holding part 18 mounted from the front side into an opening formed in the vertical wall part 14, to detachably hold the water discharge part 16; a hose guide 15 of U-shaped cross section arranged on the back face side of the vertical wall part 14; a fixing nut part 20 screwed to the holding part 18 from the back face side of the vertical wall part 14 in a state of being fitted into the hose guide 15; and a rotation regulating part (a top face part 14a) provided on the back face side of the vertical wall part 14 to regulate the rotation of the fixing nut part 20 by allowing the fixing nut part 20 to abut thereon.
