PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscous fluid coupling having torque transmitting stability and durability by forming highly accurate spline grooves in a housing. SOLUTION: In the viscous fluid coupling 1, first plates 40 and second plates 50 are arranged alternately laminating each other inside a power transmission camber 30, and spline teeth 41 on the outer peripheries of the first plates 40 are fit to spline grooves 42 provided in the inner periphery of the opening at one end of a housing 10 and spline teeth 51 on the inner peripheries of the second plates 50 are fit to spline grooves 52 provided in the outer periphery of an inner shaft 20.
