PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device reducing emission irregularity of red and blue pixels by fixing obtained emission profiles in appearance, and to provide an electronic apparatus equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The organic EL device includes an organic EL element having a positive electrode 111 with a reflecting surface 111c, a negative electrode 12 with a semipermeable reflection layer 12a, and a functional layer 110 interposed between these electrodes. The red pixel constituted of the organic EL element forms an optical resonator between the reflecting surface 111c and the semipermeable reflection layer 12a. In the red pixel, the film-thickness profile of the functional layer 110 is in a protruded or recessed form and the film thickness R(a) of a thicker side of the functional layer 110 satisfies a relation of [2dl=mλ+(θan*λ)/2π+(θca*λ)/2π] (m is an integer,λis a peak wavelength of the spectrum of light to be taken out andθan andθca are phase shifted amounts) and a relation of [0.9dl≤R(a)≤1.1dl] with respect to the resonance optical path length dl in the optical resonator.
