<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect a paper joined part without sticking a member to be detected in a corrugator. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This device for detecting the paper joined part of corrugated board base paper in the corrugator includes: a non-contact thickness sensor 40 installed in a manufacturing line of the corrugator to detect thickness information on passing corrugated board base paper or a workpiece 24 of the corrugated board base paper by non-contact; and a deciding device 50A for deciding as the paper joined part, a portion where predetermined detection information is obtained from detection information of the non-contact thickness sensor 40.
