PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specimen processing system and a specimen container sorter for sorting specimens to be offered to specimen measurement from specimens not to be offered to specimen measurement, thereby preventing the operation of the processing system from stopping. SOLUTION: This specimen processing system 1 includes a specimen input device 2, measurement units 51, 51, and 51, specimen conveyors 3, 3, and 3, and a system controller 8. Based on images of a specimen container taken by the input device 2, the shape of the specimen container, the amount of each specimen, and coagulation of each specimen are detected by the system controller 8 to determine whether or not each specimen is to be offered to measurement. Specimens to be offered to measurement are sent out to a specimen conveyor 3 while specimens not to be offered to measurement are sent out to a storage area of the input device 2.
