<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent for a tampon in which a laminate is not sprayed with a liquid to form different regions in fiber density. <P>SOLUTION: The absorbent 10 for a tampon is produced by compressing a laminate 10A comprising liquid-permeable surface member 1 and absorbent member 2 to mold, wherein the absorbent member 2 before compressed to mold includes a first region A and a second region B; the first region A is a region for one part which is firstly inserted into a vaginal orifice when the absorbent 10 for the tampon is longitudinally divided into two equal parts; the second region B is a region for another part which is firstly pulled out of the vaginal orifice when the absorbent 10 for the tampon is longitudinally divided into two equal parts; and the first region A has a narrower area than the second region B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
