<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter which is manufactured by using an inkjet method and which is excellent in lightness and a contrast ratio, and on which occurrence of light transmitting streak is suppressed, and to provide an image display device and electronic equipment equipped with the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter has a plurality of colored portions with a plurality of colors on a substrate, wherein the colored portions are provided with a droplet discharge method using a color filter ink. The color filter is characterized in that, when an effective area is defined in a plan view of the color filter, the area in a similar figure to the colored portion with a homothetic ratio of 0.90 to the colored portion, having the gravity center at the same point as that of the colored portion, and existing in the colored portion, and T<SB>min</SB>[μm] represents the minimum thickness of the colored portion in the effective area, and T<SB>max</SB>[μm] represents the maximum thickness, an average of T<SB>min</SB>/T<SB>max</SB>of respective colored portions of those with at least one color is 0.85-1.00, and the ink for the color filter includes a coloring agent, a liquid medium, and a predetermined polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
