<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact composite electronic component with high performance, constituted of a combination of a static electricity countermeasure element having a small capacitance and excellent discharge property and a common mode filter. <P>SOLUTION: A composite electronic component 100 includes a common mode filter layer 12a sandwiched between a first magnetic base 11a and a second magnetic base 11b and a static electricity countermeasure element layer 12b. The common mode filter layer 12a includes spiral conductors 17 and 18 magnetically coupled to each other. The static electricity countermeasure element layer 12b includes gap electrodes 28 and 29 formed on a surface of a base insulating layer 27 and a static electricity absorption layer 30 covering the gap electrodes 28 and 29. The gap electrodes 28 and 29 are arranged at positions that do not overlap with conductor patterns of an inductance element. The static electricity absorption layer 30 functions as a low-voltage discharge type static electricity protective material. When an overvoltage such as static electricity is applied, an initial discharge is assured between the electrodes via the static electricity absorption layer 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
