<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a gap is generated by a difference of instantaneous thermal expansion between an exothermic body and a base body or a crack is caused in the base body at an abnormal time such as a case of a large rush current flowing just after an operation starts. <P>SOLUTION: In the ceramic heater 10 composed of an exothermic body 2 embedded in a base body 1 made of ceramics, the exothermic body 2 has a surface with recessed part 5 where ceramics is incorporated. Even if a large thermal stress is generated due to a difference of thermal expansion between the exothermic body 2 and the base body 1, a creation of a gap between the exothermic body 2 and the base body 1 or an occurrence of a crack in the base body 1 can be prevented even in a length direction of the exothermic body 2 where a large thermal stress works, because the base body 1 has the recessed part 5 where the ceramics is incorporated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
