PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce shading incurred along rows in a column A/D form.

SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging apparatus includes: a pixel array in which pixels for outputting an analog signal are arranged in a matrix; vertical output lines to which a plurality of pixels provided in the same column of the pixel array are connected in common; a plurality of A/D converting means for converting the analog signal into a digital signal; and constant current supplying means for supplying a constant current to the plurality of A/D converting means. Each of the plurality of A/D converting means includes an integrating means for integrating the constant current, a comparing means for comparing the integrated constant current with the analog signal and outputting a comparison signal, and a digital signal storing means for storing a digital signal corresponding to the comparison signal. The integrating means includes an input capacitor for receiving the constant current at one terminal of the integrating means. The comparing means is connected to the constant current supplying means via the input capacitor.
