<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly estimate a plasticity coefficient with reduced time and labor when rolling a metal plate by a rolling mill, and to control the outlet side thickness of the metal plate to the target outlet side thickness of the metal plate by using the estimated plasticity coefficient. <P>SOLUTION: The correct plasticity coefficient Qa is experimentally obtained by using a metal plate with its roll flatness being equal to or less than the preset value, and a friction coefficientμin which the measured value Qa and the theoretical rolling value Qb is matched with each other. By using the friction coefficientμ, the theoretical rolling values (Q1, Q2, ..., Qn) are obtained under various rolling conditions where the roll flatness is equal to or less than the preset value, and the constant of the function F having the predetermined expression is obtained so as to fit the theoretical rolling values. Even under the rolling condition of the large roll flatness, the plate thickness is controlled by using the plasticity coefficient estimated by the obtained function F. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
