<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a steering lock device capable of making it difficult to generate a situation that a steering lock body portion is improperly removed from a mounting location. <P>SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of the steering lock device, the steering rock body portion 5 is mounted to a column tube 2 through a hinge bracket 11. A hinge portion 12 of the hinge bracket 11 has a structure wherein a bracket body 16 is journaled to a supporting pin 15 of a body 13. A pin trough-hole 18 letting the supporting pin 15 pass is formed by folding back an end of the bracket body 16 inward, and fixing a tip end of the folded portion 24 by welding. Therefore, the tip end of the folded portion 24 is fixed by a welding portion 25, and has a double coupling structure mounted to the bracket body 16 by two walls of an outer wall 27 on a front side and an inner wall 28 on a back side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
