PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the finish of a molding by placing a resin material in a cylinder efficiently in a vacuum state. SOLUTION: In a molding machine, the resin material is supplied from a hopper into a cylinder through a supply port and compressed to a screw while being heated by a heater, and metering is carried out into a mold to perform molding. The screw has a first passage which extends from a prescribed heating part heated by the heater to the supply port along the screw and a second passage which is independent from the first passage and extends from the prescribed heating part to a prescribed discharge part exceeding the supply port along the screw. As regards the first passage, the resin material is supplied from the hopper through an orifice, and the resin material is sent by the rotation of the screw. The entrance of the resin material into the second passage is prohibited, and the second passage is decompressed in the prescribed discharge part from the outside of the cylinder.
