<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide new cytotoxic matter to induce a cell death in a selected cell population. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The new cytotoxic matter includes new taxanes of 2'(3'-dephenyl-3'-(isobutenyl)-7-(methyldisulphanyl-propanoyl)-docetaxel) or the like which have a binding group at the 7 position. The taxane is chemically combined with cell-binding matter which can make a selected cell population a target [an antibody or its fragment (especially monoclonal antibody), lymphokine, hormone, growth factor, vitamin, nutrition delivery molecule (for example, transferrin) or the like] through the 7 position bondage, whereby the taxane is delivered to a selected cell population in a targeting style, and therefore, the new cytotoxic matter has a selective treating application.
