<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which reduces the decline of interest, in the game machine for executing two or more kinds of special games. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A control means 100 advances a game in a non time shortening game state which is a normal game state regarding the degree of difficulty of ball entry to a freely openable and closable start port (second start port) 10 or in a time shortening game state wherein the degree of difficulty of the ball entry to the start port becomes lower than that in the non time shortening game state, shifts to the non time shortening game state during the execution of a second special game, and continues a game state immediately before a third special game is started during the execution of the third special game. In this case, a plurality of opening time periods of the second start port 10 in the non time shortening game state are set, and the opening time period of the second start port 10 in the time shortening game state includes the opening time period of the second start port 10 in the non time shortening game state.
