<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal whose configuration is easily changed as a user intends. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The mobile terminal 1 includes a contact detection unit 2 which detects contact from outside and outputs contact detection information 100, an acceleration detection unit 3 which determines that acceleration is detected when acceleration which is larger than predetermined one is applied, and outputs acceleration detection information 110, an operation determination unit 4 which determines an artificial operation when detecting a certain return (bounce) or swing in an acceleration detection period based upon the contact detection information 100 and acceleration detection information 110, and outputs hinge control instruction information 120, a hinge control unit 5 which outputs a hinge control instruction 130 for instructing the configuration of the mobile terminal to be changed based upon the hinge control instruction information 120, and a hinge unit 6 which changes the configuration of the mobile terminal 1 according to the hinge control instruction 130.
