PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing method for achieving the unitary management of an information storage region formed by connecting a plurality of information recording media, and for preventing address management from becoming complicated due to the failure generation of a portion of those information storage media. SOLUTION: This information processing method includes: controlling the connection of n (n: natural number, n≥2) pieces of information storage media; detecting a failure information storage medium from the n pieces of information storage media; managing the address of a connection information storage region formed by connecting the n pieces of information storage media; managing the address of the failure information storage region corresponding to the failure information storage medium; and limiting access to the address of the failure information storage region among the addresses of the connection information storage region.
