PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a lifting/lowering support and the lifting/lowering support capable of stably supporting a movable body to a fixed body while allowing its lifting/lowering with respect to the fixed body and connected to the fixed body at suppressed working manhour and cost. SOLUTION: A support structure 20 fixes a lifting/lowering support to a fixed body, wherein the lifting/lowering support includes a substantially tubular outer rod 15 erected from a fixed body of furniture, and an inner rod 16 vertically exractably inserted into the outer rod 15 and fixed with a movable body of the furniture lifting/lowering with respect to the fixed body, to its upper end. The support structure includes: a substantially tubular holding section 22 having an insertion hole 22a in which the inner rod 16 is slidably inserted, and formed with a fitting groove 17 to which at least a portion of the upper end of the outer rod 15 is fitted; and a fixing object section 23 projecting from the holding section 22 to the periphery side and connected to the fixed body.
