<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel floor slab structure which suppresses the occurrence of fatigue damage (mainly a crack in a welded part between an under surface of a deck plate and a vertical rib) and enables the implementation of highly precise alignment in construction work. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The steel floor slab structure of a bridge includes a deck plate 102, a plurality of vertical ribs 104 extended on the under surface of the deck plate 102 in parallel in the longitudinal direction of the bridge, a lateral rib extended to traverse perpendicularly the vertical ribs in the longitudinal direction of the bridge, and a thin-layer pavement 4 disposed above the deck plate 102. A panel 3 which is formed of a cement-based hardened material with a compressive strength of 120 N/mm<SP>2</SP>or higher and a bending strength of 30 N/mm<SP>2</SP>or higher and has projections and/or recesses of 2 mm or smaller in height at least on one of the surfaces is laid via an adhesive layer 2 on the upper surface of the deck plate 102 with the projections and/or recesses faced down.
