PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support column fixing structure in a partitioning device capable of fixing a support column on a ceiling, ensuring sufficient strength in fixing the support column on the ceiling, and preventing the beautiful appearance from being impaired. SOLUTION: This support column fixing structure is constituted by fixing a plate-like part 24 of a support column fastener 28 on a ceiling surface R by a fastening tool 50, fixing insertion pieces 30, 32 of the support column fastener 28 fitted into partitioning panel mounting grooves 12, 14 in the support column 10 to move vertically on the support column 10 in bottom parts of the partitioning panel mounting grooves by fastening tools 52, 54, and fitting and mounting cover members 60, 62 in the partitioning panel mounting grooves 12, 14 to hide a part where the insertion pieces 30, 32 and the fastening tools 52, 54 are arranged by the cover members 60, 62.
