BEARING FOR BUILDINGS

PURPOSE: A bearing for a building is provided to improve the flexibility of a building by controlling the horizontal-displacement and rotation-displacement occurred in the building. CONSTITUTION: A bearing for a building comprises a spherical bearing unit(100) and a base unit. The spherical bearing unit is composed of a lower body and an upper body, and is coupled to the top of a lower structure(10). A spherical protrusion is formed in the top center of the lower body. A spherical groove is formed in the bottom center of the upper body, and is coupled to the spherical protrusion of the lower body. The base unit is coupled to the bottom of an upper structure(20).
