PURPOSE: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to easily perform an installation work and a repairing work by stably maintaining a control box, and to minimize corrosion of components in the outdoor unit. CONSTITUTION: An outdoor unit of an air conditioner comprises an outer case, a fan motor assembly, a compressor, a heat exchanger, a partition(40), a control box(60), and a water inflow preventing part(61). The fan motor assembly is installed inside the outer case, and inhales and discharges external air. The compressor compresses a refrigerant. The heat exchanger heat-exchanges the external air with the refrigerant. The partition divides an inner space of the outer case into a blowing area for the fan motor assembly and a device area for the compressor. The control box is installed in the partition, and controls the operation of the fan motor assembly and the compressor. The water inflow preventing part prevents condensation water generated in the heat exchanger from being scattered to the device area.
