PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a cluster ion is provided to easily control the amount of cation and anion which are discharged from a clean mode and an ion mode by improving a shape of a discharge needle. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for generating a cluster ion comprises: a driving circuit diagram converting to low voltage DC power supply into high voltage DC power supply; a high pressure part which is projected on the outside of a main body; an anion generating part(62) which generates the anion by receiving negative high voltage DC power supply from the high pressure part; and a cation generating part(61) which generates the cation by receiving positive high voltage DC power supply from the high pressure part and is separated from the anion generating part.
