PURPOSE: A ground pressure type anchor and a construction method thereof are provided to increase support by applying tensile force, and to securely fix an anchor head to the ground using bearing pressure. CONSTITUTION: A ground pressure type anchor comprises a PC strand(110), an upper anchoring unit, a lower anchoring unit(120), and an anchor body. The PC strand has a tendon. The upper anchoring unit anchors the top end of the PC strand to the ground. The lower anchoring unit restricts the bottom of the PC strand. The anchor body is formed in the top of the lower anchoring unit.
