PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for blocking harmful sites are provided to block a harmful site using a hash value of a URL(Uniform Resource Locator), thereby increasing processing capacity while increasing processing speed. CONSTITUTION: An operation unit(120) generates a URL hash value from URL information. If the generate hash value is matched with at least one of lists of the preset hash values, a blocking unit(140) blocks a site corresponding to the URL. A storage unit(130) stores a list of the hash value. A collecting unit(110) collects transceived packets. The collecting unit divides an HTTP(Hypertext Transfer Protocol) request packet from the collected packets. |
