PURPOSE: A device for controlling an automatic door using an infrared safety sensor is provided to prevent a safety accident by sensing an object of a wide range using an infrared beam. CONSTITUTION: A device for controlling an automatic door using an infrared safety sensor comprises a safety sensor unit(110), a controller(100), and a motor drive unit(120). The safety sensor unit senses an object located near an automatic door(140). The controller outputs an opening and closing signal of the automatic door depending on a signal sensed from the safety sensor unit. The motor drive unit controls a drive motor(130) for opening and closing the automatic door depending on the opening and closing signal output from the controller. |
