PURPOSE: A light emitting diode is provided to supply power to a light emitting diode by executing a hiccup mode according to a user selection when the light emitting diode is abnormally operated. CONSTITUTION: A reference signal generator(120) generates a reference signal which has a pulse operating for a predetermined period when a light emitting unit is abnormally operated. A controller(130) controls the operation time of a hiccup mode which turns an output on/off according to a predetermined period. A driver(140) drives the lighting emitting unit during the preset operation time with the hiccup mode. The controller comprises a counter which counts the number of pulses of the reference signal, and an enable coder which compares the counted pulse number with a preset number. The controller controls a light emitting diode driving device.
